As a regular visitor to Abidjan and Ivory Coast, I try if there is room's available to stay at Gaia Guest house. I say " If there is room " as it has become very popular and one needs to book in advance if you wish to secure. Rooms have a great layout and you are looked after very well.

I visit Abidjan on a regular basis and this B and B is my home away from home and I am always disappointed if I cannot get a reservation. Clean and comfortable with lovely garden to either relax or get some work done in a friendly atmosphere. Always feel welcome here with the friendly staff and hosts.

"Gaia Garden is by far the best B&B in Abidjan: the rooms are very tastefully decorated, the garden is incredible, and the food is excellent (especially the breakfast, which is a must with its fresh fruit juice and homemade pastries, and the dinner, with plenty of variety every day).
Its location is also very good, in Cocody and close to the Plateau district, making it a great alternative to large hotels when spending more than two days in Abidjan." The owners make everything to make you feel at home

"I stay at Gaia's Garden each time I go to Abidjan (except when the place is full - so my advice: book in advance!). The guest house and rooms are always cosy and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, and Luisa and Stan the perfect hosts. Each room -whether small or large, has its own decoration and charm. I travel extensively over Africa, and I always feel welcome and at home at Gaia's."

"I felt quite at home, the room was appointed meticulously, and the service staff was attentive. The breakfasts were amazing, and the homemade scones were to die for. I also ate lunch, in which the menu of the day included fajitas. They were truly delicious, best fajitas I've had anywhere. If you are looking for a fabulous B&B, choose this one, you will not be disappointed."
